Farmer Becca
Hello, I’m Farmer Becca! I run Moo Music classes in Worksop, Retford and the surrounding areas. I am a proud mum of two very active boys: Leo (almost 4) and Ollie (9 months), who are full of life and like to keep me on my toes! I’ve been a primary teacher for 13 years; I am passionate about working with children and their families and supporting them in learning and growing together as well as celebrating reaching those all important milestones. Being a part of this, fills me with a huge sense of joy and contentment. After having our first son, I joined Moo Music classes as a way of helping us get out of the house; establish a routine; and to meet and speak with other new and experienced parents as I embarked on the crazy journey that is parenthood. Little did I know how much I would fall in love with the special time it gave me and my precious baby to continue to strengthen our bond. I’d also underestimated how much the sessions would support and encourage my son’s early development. Also, Moo helped me to develop an understanding of how babies learn as well as share new fun and interactive activities I could recreate at home. It wasn’t long before we were buying the CDs and singing, signing and dancing along to the catchy, original songs in the car and at home too – we were hooked! Having our second son gave me the opportunity to join Moo classes again and I couldn’t wait to create these special memories with him, just as I had with Leo! This time however, I could take both boys to the same class, where each could get involved and benefit without one being left out - another one of the many things I love about Moo! I was hooked again and was reminded, yet again, how much I loved everything it involved and stood for. I decided I would love to run my own sessions and help other parents and carers experience the fun and multi-sensory world of Moo Music. Thank you for reading. What to expect at Moo
Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play. Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 125 original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. It’s a great way to make new friends – both for the children and the adults too!
