I am Lindsey - the owner and class leader at Moo Music WirralWS. Following a career in children's nursing and a long stint as a secondary school performing arts teacher, I launched Moo Music classes in 2015. They have gone from strength to strength and even survived a global pandemic! In 2022 a little dream came true when I secured a permanent base for classes in Hoylake. our classes have a different theme each week and having my own space - The Moo Room - means I can make the class a more immersive experience. I can honestly say it's the best job I have ever had and never really feels like work - just lots of fun! Outside of Moo I am Mum to 3 boys who all love performing so I spend a lot of time chaperoning and waiting in wings. I sing with a couple of bands and am taking to the stage in a musical for the first time in a long time later this year. Having originally trained in Musical Theatre and Performing Arts, I am very passionate about the importance of the arts from an early age. Training as a children's nurse at Alder Hey gave me a great deal of experience in child development and it's been amazing to find a job that covers all my interests. I look forward to welcoming you to our friendly and fun classes very soon.

What to expect at Moo

Is everybody here? Are you ready to start? Yes we’re here and we’re ready to start!

What do we do at Moo?

Moo Music classes are more than just a music class! We sing, we dance, we play and we have fun. Our sessions are a lovely way to interact in some creativity with your little one. Your children can enjoy our fantastic original songs developed by Early Years Educators and professional musicians whilst engaging in imaginative role play, sign language, sensory play and parachute games to name just a few of our activities. All this alongside the singing, movement and instrument work that you would expect at a music based class. Classes not only develop musical ability and enjoyment but they can also contribute to your child’s speech and language development, motor development and social skills.

Where can we do Moo?

In February 2022, we moved into our own little venue – The Moo Room. Situated at 124 Market Street in the heart of Hoylake, all our classes and special events including birthday parties (or Moo Doos as we call them) run from here. We have a range of classes on offer at our immersive permanent venue in Hoylake, including Pay as You Go Saturday classes. Weekday classes are bookable in six week blocks but PAYGO may be available in classes with space.

What Moo should I do?

MIXED MOO (0-5’s) Mixed age sessions – perfect for preschoolers but also ideal for siblings/friends of different ages. Baby siblings 6 months and under are free and we offer a sibling/childminder discount.

BABY MOO is a lovely session aimed at little ones who are not yet walking. This is suitable for babies from around 8 weeks to when they are wobbly walking.

MOOBORN (0-6 months) is a class for the tiniest of Moovers – very relaxed, lots of sensory experiences, tummy time is incorporated and all the babies are around a similar age/developmental stage.

What do the Grown Ups think?

We love Moo Music!! There’s so much fun every week and I love it just as much as my little girl does! As soon as I put the songs on in the car on the way there, she knows straight away where we are going and gets so excited & best of all, Lindsey is incredible I would recommend to anyone!

Lauren & Isabella

My eldest child was one of the original moo pre schoolers when Lindsey started out! My second child was 6 weeks old at his first moo class, and my third child 6 days old!!! They have all absolutely adored Lindsey’s classes. She puts so much thought and effort into each one. The props that nanna moo makes are second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending moo music to anyone it is by far THE best class going and believe me, after 3 children I’ve been to a fair few!! Book on, you will not regret it!
