What to expect at Moo
Do you want to see your little moovers waddle like a penguin, fly around like a superhero, bake a cake using instruments and basically enjoy time on Maggie Moo’s farm? Then Moo music is just for you! Moo Music are fun and interactive regular music sessions for babies, toddlers and also their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play!
Baby Moo is suitable for babies from birth until they are walking, these sessions are more sensory based whilst still having the fun element of Moo Music. Mini Moo is suitable for toddlers up to the age of 5. We use the same songs in these sessions as the Baby Moo but the props are more appropriately aged based along with imaginative play.
Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 125 original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. It’s a great way to make new friends – both for the children and the adults too!
WARNING – Farmer Risse is a little bit crazy and you will be singing Moo songs all day long and all night!!!
‘A fantastic class, so interactive for the little ones and parents. My daughter loves all the songs and dancing with the props. Thourougly enjoyed our Christmas party with you today, and already cannot wait to start back in 2018! Thank you!’
‘We had moo music at st.illtyds parent/carer toddler group today. We cannot find fault it was fantastic. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. Incredibly well done, engaging the little ones. Parents enjoyed too.’
‘I cannot recommend Moo Music run by Charisse enough! These classes are excellent. This is the one class that I have committed to and go on a weekly basis. James absolutely loves everything about the class, especially as its so interactive and often sings the songs at home.
Charisse is so good with all of the children, regardless of their age and ability. She is enthusiastic, positive, encouraging, welcoming and keeps the little ones engrossed throughout the session. She has a massive range of props, always linked to her theme of the week, lots of which she has creatively made herself which James is fascinated by. The structure is great and has a range of sitting down, standing up and moving around songs to keep the children engaged.
As James loves Moo Music so much, we asked Charisse to do a session at his 2nd Birthday Party which everyone loved! There were 31 little ones ranging from 2 months old to 8 years old, who all joined in with her transport themed music session in some shape or form which she had adapted to cater for the large group and range of ages!
Thank you Charisse for making James’ party so enjoyable for all. We look forward to joining you this term for lots more Moo Music!’
