Sophie Martin
Hello! My name is Sophie, and I am the owner of Moo Music Ely and Newmarket. I have 14 years of experience in education as a fully qualified Primary school teacher, with 13 of those years in a Music co-ordinator role. 6 of those years were spent specifically in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) across nurseries and schools. I also have a background in local amateur dramatics and running choirs and music and drama groups for adults and children. I love to sing, play instruments (violin, piano, guitar, percussion and drumkit), paint, write and act! I am lucky enough to be the mother to one cheeky little girl, and I spend most of my week with her, while working part-time. My passion is to share the joy that music can bring, and help enable young children to learn language, movement, number sense and social and emotional skills at the same time. Moo Music is a perfect way to encapsulate all of that in a fun, easy-to-access session that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. What to expect at Moo
Moosical Fun for your Little One:
Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play. Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 125 original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. It’s a great way to make new friends – both for the children and the adults too!
