Nikki Edwards
Hi! My name is Nikki, I am a mum of two and former teacher. Running Moo Music classes is my passion and so much more than a job. I appreciate how it can feel to walk into a room for the first time, and have experienced anxiety on many occasions. I understand what a good session looks like, and as a result was awarded with the first ever Lots for Tots award for Session Leader of the Year in 2024. Come and give Moo Music Derby a go, you won't regret it!
What to expect at Moo
Moo Music is a fun, relaxed and interactive regular class for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play (and learn without realising it!). Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 125 original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. It’s a great way to make new friends – both for the children and the adults too!

Nikki greets everyone by name each week and is so welcoming! Me & my son love our bonding time at Moo Music. Nikki makes every week interesting for the little ones & parents have plenty of chance to mingle and chat. I never hesitate booking each term as my son loves it so much. I would recommend the class to any parent as once you enter the door, any nerves or anxiety will be eased by the warm welcome ☺️ Nikki's Moo Music is definitely the best baby/toddler class in the area and good value for money too

Moo Music is the highlight of the week for my daughter and I. Nikki is so welcoming and friendly, she greeted my daughter by name when we returned after our first session which we haven’t had at any other baby classes! The classes are the perfect size, especially if you’re a little anxious like me and struggle in a busier environment. Nikki puts so much effort into planning and organising her sessions, they always have so much variety and one of our favourite songs in there somewhere! If you’re looking for a fun class to try with your little one you have to give it a go 🙂

Nikki made me feel instantly as ease, giving an option to turn up a little early to say hi before everyone else arrived to help reduce my anxiety. Little did I know, I wouldn’t actually need this as Nikki works tremendously hard throughout the session to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. The unique and catchy songs are pitched just right to keep the children (and parents) engaged, Nikki plans her sessions to ensure all abilities are equally included. It was a real pleasure and honour to attend Nikki’s classes and watch my daughter thrive in the sessions. I couldn’t recommend more highly.
