Lucy Burns
I'm Lucy and I am married to Mike with three children, including a daughter with Down Syndrome and twins (boy/girl). Having a child with additional needs led me to leave my original career of being a Solicitor and use the experience I gained in helping my daughter achieve her developmental milestones. Moo Music classes are great fun, but they also help children develop skills that are so important for life. My job now puts a smile on my face every day!
What to expect at Moo
Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play. Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 125 original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. It’s a great way to make new friends – both for the children and the adults too!

Moo Music is absolutely fantastic. As a first time mum I had some anxiety about bringing my baby to new places, but Lucy is so incredibly friendly and welcoming. I look forward to the class every week, and my little girl absolutely loves it, her face lights up when we mention Lucy and Maggie Moo, or when I sing the songs to her at home. It's been so lovely seeing her little personality developing as she's beginning to socialise with other babies. Each week is completely different, which is great! It is very cute and amusing to use fancy dress accessories for each theme, and there is a large variety of resources for the babies to use, which are clean and well maintained. Lucy is also fantastic, she addresses the babies by their names and acknowledges what each baby is doing throughout the class. Overall its a brilliant wee class, I'm so glad I joined! It's also great value for money!! I would 100% recommend Moo Music!

This is a fantastic baby and toddler class. Lucy is brilliant at welcoming each child and parent to the class and creates such a lovely relaxed and fun atmosphere. The classes are tailored perfectly for each stage of your child's development and the classes are small enough to allow for bonding between other parents which is an added bonus of attending. I can highly recommend Moo Music Mid Down.

Having attended Lucy's Moo Music classes for ages, we decided that one of her sessions would be perfect for our daughter's first birthday and it did not disappoint! Lucy was so easy to communicate with and organising was a breeze! The party was absolutely amazing - fun, engaging, and interactive, all the kids (and adults) loved it, with everyone commenting how special the activities were! My Aunt Joanne who has a learning disability particularly enjoyed Lucy using Makaton, it was very inclusive! We would recommend Lucy's parties to all our friends and families, and will definitely rebook for our next party! Thanks Lucy! Xxx
